Peacock Shimmer Wallpaper and Deep Green Paint

Traditional Wallpapering Process:

I primed with a wallpaper primer tinted to match the wallpaper. The primer assures a solid adhesion and should make removal much easier down the road. The tinted color ensures that any gaps at the seams will go unnoticed.

We painted the surrounding walls and trim a deep green from the paper.

Why not add a special touch with leftover paper?

Using the paper as a feature on these doors balances the accent wall on the opposite side of the room.

“Peel and Stick” Wallpapering Process:

Testing the design and color with the natural light before application.

Painted the walls with a matching blue tone in eggshell sheen as a base for the paper. The eggshell sheen ensures a smooth application as well as ease of removal down the road. The matching blue tone allows for any gaps at the seams to go unnoticed.

Wall painting complete. Let it dry 24 hours before applying peel and stick paper. You don’t want to trap any moisture behind the paper. It will definitely peel and bubble,
